Ingredients

First of all, check if you have all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Pay attention to the quantities!

1 pound pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

The Steps

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Toss tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast tomatoes in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until softened and slightly browned.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Stir in cream, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, or until sauce is thickened.
Drain pasta and add to skillet with sauce. Toss to coat.
Stir in roasted tomatoes and basil.
